White Sands National Monument

14 Dec 2007. White Sands National Monument is otherworldly. It’s a stunning white sand desert ringed by mountains that makes you feel like you’re on another planet. White sand, desert plants found nowhere else, and barely a soul in sight. We brought sandwiches and wine for a desert picnic, then took in the natural beauty of the surroundings. And we did some dune sledding as well 🙂
