First Stop – War Zone?

In 2 weeks, I’ll be on a plane to South Korea. But… what will await me there? I hoping it’s the same South Korea I’ve been reading about and not a country caught up in war. Given the investigation results into the sinking of the Cheonan tensions between the two Koreas have risen sharply to the point where all-out war is a possibility. I don’t think either country wants a war, but if there’s another provocation on either side then it might just come to pass. Just imagine if we found out country X sank one of our military ships, it probably wouldn’t be long before we retaliated with the “full force of the American military” (quote courtesy of President Taylor from the TV series 24). In any event, I hope both sides can hug it out.
