Thru the Lens: Antigua

Antigua (pronounced An-tee-gah) never registered on my travel map before, but my sister’s wedding gave me a reason to visit this Caribbean paradise. It’s not a budget destination so be prepared to shell out some serious cash for just about everything. Other than the local rum, nearly every product is imported from neighbouring countries, which helps to explain the high cost of living here. On the other hand, once you see the island’s beautiful white sand beaches, turquoise waters, and lush vegetation you may not want to leave…
